Services
As an Amtrad client, you choose the level of service that best meets the needs of your project:
- For distribution – A professional French-English translator translates your text. A second language professional proofreads to check conformity with the original document. The result: a high level of quality suitable for literature that is to be distributed to a wide audience.
- For publication – In addition to the two steps above, a third language professional edits the translation. The editor ensures that the text reads as an original piece of work, and not as a translation. The result: a polished French-English translation that has passed superior quality control procedures and is suitable for publication in print or on the web.
As an Amtrad client, you receive an answer to your email or message within the hour*. In addition, you deal with the same language professional for each translation project. You can count on Amtrad to listen carefully to your needs and get back to you in a timely manner.
Regular Amtrad clients enjoy the benefits of translation memory (TM) technology. TMs significantly improve consistency across projects and may generate cost savings when text is repeated. If you are able to provide an existing glossary or copies of previous translations, this information can be uploaded to your TM. This ensures that all new translations are consistent with your company’s existing terminology. It can also reduce turnaround time.
